We have been looking over some of the cases that have been completed in the last month and especially where the client has now received their compensation payment.

As usual Shaw and Co Solicitors have helped clients who have, through wide ranging circumstances, had accidents for which compensation was due. Some of the cases, in brief, are:

A Road Traffic Accident claim – As a pedestrian  – for a man who suffered serious leg injuries after being hit whilst walking on a footpath by the a negligent car driver.

Occupiers liability claim – man who suffered a hip fracture using a shower room that was slippery from discarded soap and gel which hadn’t been cleaned up properly.

Drug mis-prescribing claims – a patient who had become addicted to benzodiazepines as a result of failure to monitor his prescription and assess his needs properly.

Medical Treatment Claim - where healthcare staff failed to diagnose and refer a patient with appendicitis resulting in him suffering significant pain.
